    About this journal. The Journal of Asian Security & International Affairs is an international peer reviewed journal that specializes in political and security issues in all the main sub-regions of Asia – Central and West Asia; South Asia; Northeast Asia; Southeast Asia; and Australasia. The JASIA is particularly interested in papers that link domestic and international political issues and. The book examines ASEAN's mechanisms in managing challenges and threats to regional security. Its extensive analyses of the ASEAN story of managing regional security cover the different phases of ASEAN's development as a regional organization and explore the perceptible changes that have occurred in regional mechanisms of conflict management.
